Affiliate Disclosure

In the interest of full transparency: ScrapeTools intends to be partly reader-supported through affiliate/referral relationships with some of the vendors compared on this site. This page explains exactly what's live today and what isn't.

What's actually live right now

No affiliate relationship is active on this site yet. Every vendor link on ScrapeTools today is a plain, non-tracked link to the vendor's own public page — Bright Data, Oxylabs, Zyte, ScrapingBee, Apify, Scrapfly, and ScrapingDog links earn us nothing. Links intended for ScraperAPI show as the placeholder text https://www.scraperapi.com/?fp_ref=sanjaya18 instead of a working link, because our application to ScraperAPI's affiliate program has not yet been submitted. Until it's approved and a real tracked link replaces the placeholder, clicking it will not take you anywhere and does not earn this site anything.

What happens once an affiliate relationship goes live

If and when we're approved for a vendor's affiliate or referral program, we'll replace the relevant placeholder or plain link with a tracked link, and this page will be updated to name which vendors and confirm the commission is disclosed on any page carrying that link — consistent with the one-line disclosure banner already shown at the top of every page on this site.

How this does (and won't) affect our content

Pricing, credit systems, free-tier terms, and feature facts on this site are pulled directly from each vendor's own published pages and cited with a source link and a verification date — that process doesn't change based on whether a vendor pays us a commission. When we eventually publish tested benchmark results (see the methodology page), the same fixed target list and published test parameters apply to every vendor in a given run, specifically so an affiliate relationship can't quietly tilt which vendor comes out ahead.

Compliance intent

This disclosure is intended to meet standard affiliate-marketing disclosure expectations (in the spirit of frameworks such as the US FTC's endorsement guidelines) and the requirements of any affiliate program we join. If a disclosure on any page is unclear or missing, please let us know — see the About page for contact details.
